Education

Education is given a high priority in Cyprus and is available to everyone. Children can attend excellent Greek speaking schools or one of a number of international style schools where pupils are taught in English and educated in the American or British system. There is an international school in each of the major towns, but in Limassol there are several. Higher education is widely available in institutes where lessons are often given in the English language. There are also several respected colleges and Cyprus has its own newly created university.
